Windfall Havanese is located just outside of Chicago, IL and about half an hour west of O’Hare International Airport. Windfall has been a family affair since our start in 2005 when we acquired our very first show dog, and has developed from a weekend hobby into a passion that is shared by the entire family.

We would also like to take a moment and thank a few very special people who helped us on our way. First, to Cheryl Filson from Cher Chien Maltese for taking us under her wing and starting us out on the right path. To our cousin Rose Benanti, who handled our very first show dog and has always been there to support us through the years. To John Benoit from Dakota Showdogs, who has been a friend and mentor to us and taught us that the show world is not just about winning a ribbon, it is about the friendships you make and the laughs and good times that you share, and to never take ourselves too seriously. And finally to our parents, Bill and Judy Sako. They have been there for us through thick and thin, good and bad, and have served as unpaid transportation coordinator, puppy sitter, and have always given us their 100% unconditional support…and especially to mom for spoiling all the dogs rotten. To them and to everyone else who has helped guide us on our adventure…a huge THANK YOU!!! We could not have done it without you!
